TitleBlack-headed gulls in the Margarethapolder
New breeding islands have been created in the Margarethapolder for gulls and terns. We always have to wait and see what will happen, but the black-headed gulls were discussed at Vroege Vogels. They arrive to breed a little earlier than the black-headed gulls, and this time they were in the majority of the black-headed gulls. because staying with them young is a perfect opportunity to finally take good photos.

TitleDay 3: Oostvaardersplassen, Lelystad
Arjen Dwarshuis shows us the Oostvaardersplassen. He hears many species, and I see some of them too. The nicest for me were Pontic gulls, a species that look very much like herring gulls to me. Not for Arjen, he was able to explain to me that I compared it to herring gulls based on the light underside and the relatively flat head.
